South Australia

The Annual Frostbite Regatta is hosted by the Port Lincoln Yacht Club on the Saturday and Sunday of the Queens Birthday Long Weekend.


Late November - Kembla Klassic, PKSC, Lake Illawarra
Venue: Port Kembla Sailing Club - Northcliffe Drive, Berkeley
RACES 2-4 constitute Round 1 of the Sharpie NSW State Titles

Feb-March: Sydney Harbour Round 2 of the NSW State Titles is usually hosted by the Balmoral Sailing Club.

April - Bateman's Bay - Round 3 of the NSW State Titles is sailed on Bateman's Bay with heats from the Bateman's Bay Anzac Weekend Regatta finishing off the series.

The Bateman's Bay Anzac Weekend Regatta attracts a number of boats for the last sail for the season. The regatta is hosted by the Bateman's Bay Sailing Club. We all look forward to this regatta but never to the 5 months of not sailing.


October - ACT Dinghy Championships, Lake Burley Griffin

The ACT Dinghy Championships is hosted by either the Canberra Yacht Club, launcing from Lotus bay, or the YMCA Sailing Club, home of the Sharpies in the ACT, launching from Yarralumla Bay. At either venue, there's with rigging on the grass sailing on West Lake.
